The CLPL Library of Things (LoT) is where we keep non-traditional library items that can be checked out.

• C-Pen reader

• Handheld audio recording equipment
   

Lending Guidelines

1. You must be at least 12 years old and your account must be more than 90 days old to check out an item from the LoT.  
2. You cannot have more than $10 in fines on your account.
3. Items circulate for a seven-day loan period. Devices can be renewed at the library provided there are no holds on the item.  Devices cannot be renewed over the phone.
4. Items must be returned at the Circulation Desk inside the library.  They cannot be returned at the outside return box or at another COOL library.  There is a $10 fee for returning a device incorrectly.
5. There is a $5 per day fine for overdue items.  Items are considered overdue at the end of the seven-day loan period.  They are considered lost after thirty days.  The account holder is responsible for any lost or damaged items.
6. Anyone under the age of 18 must have a Release & Hold Harmless Agreement signed by a parent/caregiver in order to check items out from the LoT.
7. In order to check out a bike, you must have a signed Bike Lending & Guidelines Agreement on file for the current calendar year.  Anyone under 18 must have a Bike Lending Parental-Guardian Consent Form on file for the current calendar year.
