Library of Things Collection
The CLPL Library of Things (LoT) is where we keep non-traditional library items that can be checked out.

- Pickleball sets
- C-Pen reader
- CD player
- WiFi hotspots
- Kill-a-watt meters
- Bicycles
- Handheld audio recording equipment
Lending Guidelines
- You must be at least 12 years old and your account must be more than 90 days old to check out an item from the LoT.
- You cannot have more than $10 in fines on your account.
- Items circulate for a seven-day loan period. Devices can be renewed at the library provided there are no holds on the item. Devices cannot be renewed over the phone.
- Items must be returned at the Circulation Desk inside the library. They cannot be returned at the outside return box or at another COOL library. There is a $10 fee for returning a device incorrectly.
- There is a $5 per day fine for overdue items. Items are considered overdue at the end of the seven-day loan period. They are considered lost after thirty days. The account holder is responsible for any lost or damaged items.
- Anyone under the age of 18 must have a Release & Hold Harmless Agreement signed by a parent/caregiver in order to check items out from the LoT.
- In order to check out a bike, you must have a signed Bike Lending & Guidelines Agreement on file for the current calendar year. Anyone under 18 must have a Bike Lending Parental-Guardian Consent Form on file for the current calendar year.
