2025 Summer Reading Program June 9th- August 2nd
With activities and reading challenges for all ages, we have something for everyone!
Adults and youth are invited to explore their imagination and creativity this summer during our 8-week long art-themed summer reading program.
- Adults, ages 18 and over, can pick up a reading log and youth, ages 0-17, can pick up a reading log and activity log at any time and join the fun!
- Youth participants are welcome to turn in their reading logs at any point during throughout the 8 weeks. They have six opportunities to turn in their reading logs to be entered into the prize drawings but we ask that they only turn in once per library visit.
- We recommend that youth ages 0-8 read or be read to 10-15 minutes per session and youth 9 years and older read for at least 20 minutes. After each session, they can fill in a section of the reading log, using their creativity to color it however they want!
- Adults can fill in their reading log each time they read 30 minutes.
- Additionally, youth will receive a pixel art puzzle sheet. Kids can collect stickers to fill in a piece of the puzzle each time they visit the library or attend library events. Collect all the stickers to reveal the picture!
- Youth not registered for the reading challenge are still eligible to complete a pixel art puzzle to commemorate their visits to the library this summer!
The final day reading logs will be accepted is August 9th.
We also offer one-on-one reading tutoring for youth entering grades 1st-5th. Learn more by clicking here.
Youth prize winners will be announced July 9th & August 13th on Facebook.
Adult prize winners will be announced August 13th on Facebook.
Winners will also be contacted by phone.
Our Summer Reading Program wouldn't be possible without the generous donations from our community. Thank you to our 2025 supporters!
