If it plugs in or charges up, it can be recycled!  It's time for our annual Electronics Recycling collection event.  Help us celebrate Earth Month by keeping electronic waste out of the landfill.  

Please see the attached document for a list of some of the items that we'll accept.  We only accept items while the library is open.  Do not leave items sitting outside the library when it is closed.  There is a fee for recycling TV's and CRT computer monitors, see attachment for details.  We can only accept cash or checks for payment, please make checks out to AccurateIT Services.

All electronics will be recycled with AccurateIT Services, a certified electronics recycler. They ensure data destruction needs are met by following the National Institute of Standards and Technology Guidelines for Media Sanitization. This means they will render all storage devices physically inert through disfigurement, dismantling, and recycling. Also, all asset tags, serial numbers, and personal/company information and data are removed. For more information visit www.ait-recycle.com.
