How do I get a library card?  

  1. All Ohio residents are eligible for a free library card.
  2. Provide a valid photo ID and proof of current address when you submit your application.
  3. Complete a Library User ApplicationFill out this form online, pick up a copy in the library, or print out a copy using the link below.
  4. Youth under the age of 14 must have a parent/guardian sign the application. Both parent/guardian and child must be present when submitting the application.

 

What can I do with a library card? 

  1. You get access to all items at CLPL as well as the collections of all COOL libraries.
  2. You can use library computers using your library card and your PIN.
  3. Access digital ebooks, audiobooks, and magazines on the Libby app.  Just enter your library card number to get started!

To ensure we have your current contact information, library cards expire every two years.  To renew, simply stop by the library and verify your contact information and you'll be ready to borrow more items!

 

What else do I need to know? 

  1. Patrons under 18 cannot check out DVDs rated "R" or "TV MA."
  2. We are fine free on most items unless an item is lost or damaged.
  3. Renewals, when available, are automatic unless another patron is waiting for your item.
